Titus is the Moodle EMEA Partner Of The Year!

We’re incredibly happy to announce that at the recent Moodle Awards, Titus was announced as the Moodle EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Partner of the Year 2020. 

The Moodle network includes over 100 partners globally – all proven experts in providing Moodle services. Simply put, it’s their responsibility to help organisations get the most out of their LMS – through customisation, configuration and development. 

The Partner network also contributes towards the work that Moodle HQ does and ensures Moodle remains at the forefront of eLearning technology. 

Starting last year at the first-ever MoodleMoot Global, Moodle HQ launched their annual awards ceremony to celebrate the Partners that had gone the extra mile. Last year, Titus was named the Appreciation Partner of the Year for our work with Moodle Workplace. You can read more about what that means here

This year’s award win comes at the end of a what’s been a challenging year for all of us, but nevertheless, we’re proud to have achieved a number of milestones

– Employed an additional 13 people (and outgrown our old HQ) 

– Moved to a bigger location in June. 

– Gained Premium Moodle Partner status in the UK, HK and UAE. 

– Opened a new regional office in the UAE to better serve our international clients Achieved both IS0 9001 and IS0 27001 certifications. 

The EMEA is Moodle’s fastest-growing region, and to be named the Partner in that region that has achieved the most is an incredible honour. 

Co-founder and Director of Titus, Seb Francis said: “It’s an incredible achievement for us and the team, there are so many people in the region so to be recognised is absolutely fantastic. A huge congratulations and thank you to our team who have made all this possible, it’s been a very tough year for people and I’m so proud of the team for pulling together. From a commercial and a business perspective we’ve exceeded what we wanted to do, but more than that we’ve all rallied around one another and our network to make sure we’re all okay as individuals”.

Phuong Nguyen Hong

Digital Marketing Executive

Super talented, unflappable and very funny, Phuong supports the whole marketing team in her role as Digital Marketing Executive. Phuong holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and recently completed a master’s degree in Management and Marketing. Originally from Hanoi in Vietnam, Phuong is now based in the UK and climatising brilliantly to our weather and food.

Phuong owns a food review Instagram page as travelling and food are her passion. She also has a cute little french bulldog.

Ellie Sharkey

Head of Marketing

Ellie was the first woman to join Titus and has paved the way for many more since then. After studying for a degree in Fashion and Marketing, Ellie was lucky to find herself at fashion weeks and photoshoots.

Now she’s switched from talk of the front row to front end design and has brought loads of transferable knowledge to Titus. Ellie has also found a real passion for tech, especially in the learning sector, helping clients create positive change for their organisations.

Callum Barrett

Senior Brand Executive

As one of the youngest people at Titus but at the same time one of the oldest serving members of the team, Callum has graced Titus with his broad smile and positive attitude for over 5 years now. As a key member of the marketing team, Callum works across all areas, both on and offline, to ensure that all Titus brands and communication are on point.

After missing out on the opportunity to go to University the first time around, management encouraged him to enrol in our course alongside his work. He is now studying to achieve his Level 6 Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing.

Dec Connolly

Acquisition Marketing Manager

Always bringing innovation and new ideas, Dec studied a degree in Journalism but found his passion in digital marketing. Dec has also worked in marketing for one of the countries biggest retailers and within the property sector.

Outside work, Dec Co-founded a news publication where he collaborated with global brands like Uber, Amazon, BooHoo and countless SMEs.
