Titus selected as one of the first ever Moodle Premium Partners

Company News

February 5, 2020

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Titus Learning has been awarded Premium Moodle Partner status, only 3 partners out of 85 to be awarded this certification, in recognition of our exceptional level of service provided to Moodle users for the last 6 years.

We’ve had a close relationship with Moodle since our inception as a company in 2013, having always been an advocate of the platform, and having been involved in customising and integrating Moodle based learning management systems for a range of clients.

Moodle Certified Premium Partner

In September 2017, we gained certified Moodle Partner status in the UK, shortly followed by certified status in Hong Kong, due in part to our growing client base in the ASIA PAC region.

Now, as then, we’re one of a handful of companies to hold Partner status in more than one territory.

We’re one of the first organisations to go through the stringent application and review process for Premium Moodle Partner status, which required us to demonstrate the highest standards of Moodle knowledge, quality of service and reliability. And we’re delighted to be one of the first to succeed!

The new Premium certification recognises our long track record in championing the use of Moodle products to public sector, corporate and third sector organisations, particularly Moodle Workplace, an evolution of Moodle LMS designed specifically for business use.

We’ve been an effective and trusted advocate for the Moodle Workplace platform since it’s launch. Recently, we were chosen to create a new online learning system for Network Rail, which will be the first major LMS in the national transport industry built on Moodle Workplace.

Over the last year, we’ve delivered a number of similarly large scale Moodle implementation projects for a diverse range of clients, including the National Physical Laboratory, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Wasabi Sushi & Bento, The Royal College of Surgeons, and the University of London.

The partnership announcement follows our recent award for “Moodle Appreciation Partner of 2019” at the MoodleMoot conference in Barcelona last autumn, a gathering of Moodle developers, users and partners from across the globe.

Our director and co-founder Seb commented: “To be announced as one of the first two Moodle Certified Premium Partners is a massive honour and great recognition of the work our team do every day for our customers around the globe. We’ve been a Moodle Partner for just under 3 years and in that time we’ve seen our customer base double each year, with our talented team pretty much following suit.

Being a Premium Partner means we’re able to directly offer the latest release from Moodle HQ, Moodle Workplace. This is in addition to all our other core Moodle services and additional solutions such as the Moodle Educator’s Certification (MEC) and the Branded Moodle Mobile App.

The process to get the Premium Partnership, and the criteria we had to meet, was very stringent and included full vetting of our; hosting and security, ability to successfully customise Moodle, training and implementation process, proof of hitting and exceeding our SLAs, and plenty more!

We’re really excited about this next chapter as a Premium Partner and look forward to working closely with Moodle HQ and the wider Moodle community.”
