Titus Learning has recently become an associate EARCOS member – the East Asia Regional Council of Schools.
EARCOS was founded in 1968 as a membership organisation for US schools in the region, and as of this year has a total membership of 142 schools, as well as over 150 associate members made up of companies providing services to the schools.
The organisation’s mission is to “inspire adult and student learning through its leadership and service and foster intercultural understanding, global citizenship and exceptional educational practices within our learning community.”
We attended the annual Leadership Conference in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia in November 2014, and had a great trip, meeting representatives of schools across the region for a catch up on the latest e-learning topics affecting US schools in East Asia.
As an associate EARCOS member, we’re looking forward to collaborating with both the EARCOS member schools and other associate members like ourselves to further improve the provision of e-learning. We also look forward to meeting with members at future events throughout the region.
