What is a MoodleMoot?
For those that aren’t familiar with what a MoodleMoot is, they are events, either organised by Moodle HQ directly or Moodle users, that aims to bring together users and companies with a vested interest in Moodle and those that are redefining the world of edtech.
On the 6th – 8th April there will be the annual MoodleMoot UK and Ireland, where we will be returning back to Dublin at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport hotel.

What can you expect?
2020’s UK and Ireland MoodleMoot is shaping out to be one of the best yet, arranged by Gavin Henrick (formerly from Moodle HQ but now Co-Founder of Brickfield Education Labs), the three days have been packed with a series of unique workshops and attendee led seminars.
As always one of the days will be dedicated to the famed Developer Workshops, these sessions are a casual opportunity for developers to network, share knowledge and ideas, and get assistance on some difficult tasks. Our very own Marcus Green will be helping facilitate this session.
The other three workshops which will be available to attend will cover the topics of; Teaching and Staff Development (where our implementations consultant Kris will be helping facilitate), Universal Design for Learning and Introducing ABC Learning Design and Teaching and Learning in 2020.
At every MoodleMoot, there is an opportunity for attendees to submit presentation ideas. These seminars will run in conjunction with the Workshops throughout the event. Titus Learning developers Stuart Lamour and Marcus Green will be presenting a total of 6 events at these sessions, covering topics such as ‘Innovative design for learner-centred courses’ and ‘Quizzing for language teachers’.
