In the latest instalment of our Meet The Team series, we introduce Bob.
Bob joined the Titus team as a Service Desk Analyst. His responsibilities at Titus involve monitoring and actioning the helpdesk and assisting our clients with any platform difficulties that they have. Since joining the team, Bob has made an incredible difference to the level of support we provide. And on top of his day to day tasks, he has drawn from his wealth of experience to improve the support teams overall efficiency and its processes.
Below we sat down with Bob to learn more about his past work experiences, his role at Titus and his out of office interests:
What are your past work experiences?
I’ve spent the last 5 years at BTL as a Continuous Improvement Analyst, carrying out root cause analysis on defects. Prior to that, I worked on their service desk as an Analyst and then also as a Service Desk Supervisor. Going further back from there, I have worked in a number of different roles at UKAR (formerly Bradford & Bingley) such as data analysis, resource forecasting, planning & system support.
What attracted you to the role at Titus?
I've was looking for a company that's innovative, modern and that has a sense of community. I feel that Titus ticks all those boxes and my future here looks really exciting.
What do you enjoy most about this role?
Moodle is a great product and I enjoy to getting hands-on with it. We do fantastic work here and it's rewarding to be involved with something that feels worthwhile.
Your top 3 favourite books?
Carrion Comfort, American Psycho & The Shining.
What are your interests outside of the office?
Outside of work, I am a semi-professional actor. I've played the likes of Dracula, Scrooge and Mr Darcy on stage as well as some roles in some short films.
If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?
I'd love to be able to play the guitar, but I have neither the dexterity nor the patience.
