Titus Learning shortlisted for two ERA awards in 2019

March 12, 2019

Titus Learning has again been shortlisted as an award finalist, this time at the ERA awards in the Exporter of the Year and Supplier of the Year categories.

The Educational Resource Awards are now into their 19th consecutive year, and are there to highlight the incredible work that companies are doing to support education around the world. The awards are organised by Brilliant Marketing Solutions as well as the British Education Suppliers Association (BESA), of which we have been a member of for the last 3 years. Our relationship with BESA has gone from strength to strength through our multiple joint DIT trade missions and conference attendances.

EDUCATION EXPORTER OF THE YEAR

For the second year in a row, Titus Learning has been shortlisted among 9 other finalists in the ‘Education Exporter of the Year’ category. The Exporter of The Year category is one we were also finalists for at this years BETT awards and is testament to the growth that Titus Learning has worked towards and achieved over the last year.

“Since our inception, Titus Learning has focused heavily on exporting. We take the best of British educational technology and tailor it to the specific needs of individual schools both at home and abroad. In the last year, our work outside the UK has accelerated significantly, thanks to our continued growth and investment in international marketing.”

Seb Francis – Co-founder & Director, Titus Learning

Exporting internationally has always been a key focus for Titus Learning. We now have clients in 21 countries worldwide and this is only set to grow.

SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR

The Supplier of the Year category is more of a broad category aimed at companies that have supplied educational resources to the education sector and supported access to education around the world.

We were shortlisted for this award due to the work we do on supplying bespoke e-learning solutions to schools across the world. Using Moodle as our base, our development team create innovative solutions to meet individual schools requirements allowing them to reach their e-learning goals.

We also demonstrated other ways we support access to education, such as our high-quality marketing content that we produce regularly, including articles that have been published in Education Technology Magazine, International School Magazine, and promoted by the likes of BESA, the regular emails we send to our customers detailing updates and best practices, and our active blog that has a series of information on educational technology.

We showed examples of how we feed back into the Moodle project regularly by producing and developing plugins and features for Moodle through our extremely talented tech team. And finally, we detailed our commitment to the community, as we are supporting members of BESA, COBIS, FOBISIA, and EARCOS, through whom we are regularly introduced to schools seeking to collaborate with an edtech partner.

The awards ceremony is on the 22nd March at the The National Conference Centre, Birmingham. Everyone at Titus Learning will be nervously excited until then, and fingers crossed this time we can hopefully bring the prize home.

We’ll make sure to keep you posted with the lead up to the event, but in the meantime you can find out more here, as well as a full list of all the other amazing finalists.
