A couple of weeks ago we headed down to London for the COBIS Annual Conference at the Park Plaza in Victoria. The theme this year was “Measuring Success: Wellbeing, Resilience, Education and Leadership”.
Over the three days we heard a range of inspiring and instructive speakers give presentations on the current hot topics affecting international schools, between which we had the opportunity to chat to many of the conference delegates at our stand. It was a pleasure to be able to meet staff from schools across the globe, including delegates from ASia, Africa and the Middle East. We also had the chance to meet up with a few Titus Learning customers and compare notes on how we’re developing and enhancing the platform.
It was also interesting to speak with representatives from some of the companies sponsoring this year’s conference, particularly those involved in educational technology. We’re great believers in the value of collaboration with likeminded companies, especially when it comes to software integration and interoperability.
All in all it was another worthwhile and enjoyable trip, and although as a UK based company we found the location slightly less exotic than other recent conferences, it did mean we had an easier journey home than some of our fellow attendees!
