Sales Development Representative

Role: Full time, Permanent Role, Saltaire
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE) + KPI-based bonuses

Role Summary

We’re looking for an energetic and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Sales team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and supporting our Business Development Managers to achieve growth targets.

You’ll be confident, curious, and commercially driven,  someone who enjoys connecting with people, spotting opportunities, and representing Titus with professionalism and enthusiasm.

The Role:

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify and reach out to potential customers through outbound activity, calls, emails, and social media.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to inbound leads, qualifying opportunities and nurturing them through the early stages of the pipeline.
  • Book discovery calls and demos for the Business Development Managers, ensuring a smooth handover and clear context.
  • Research prospective organisations to understand their needs, challenges, and alignment with Titus’ solutions.
  • Keep CRM records up to date in HubSpot, ensuring all activities and communications are accurately logged.
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation, pipeline performance, and conversion metrics.

     

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with the wider Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Share insights and feedback to help refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and development opportunities.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • 1–2 years’ experience in B2B sales or lead generation.
  • A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Resilient and positive, with the ability to adapt to new tools and approaches.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with CRMs (HubSpot experience a plus).
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and digital communication tools.
  • UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in EdTech, Learning & Development, SaaS, or Technology Managed Services.
  • Experience working towards KPIs or sales targets.
  • Understanding of modern sales techniques such as consultative selling, account-based outreach, or social selling.

Ellie Sharkey

Ellie was the first woman to join Titus and has paved the way for many more since then. After studying for a degree in Fashion and Marketing, Ellie was lucky to find herself at fashion weeks and photoshoots.

Now she’s switched from talk of the front row to front end design and has brought loads of transferable knowledge to Titus. Ellie has also found a real passion for tech, especially in the learning sector, helping clients create positive change for their organisations.

Callum Barrett

Senior Brand Executive

As one of the youngest people at Titus but at the same time one of the oldest serving members of the team, Callum has graced Titus with his broad smile and positive attitude for over 5 years now. As a key member of the marketing team, Callum works across all areas, both on and offline, to ensure that all Titus brands and communication are on point.

After missing out on the opportunity to go to University the first time around, management encouraged him to enrol in our course alongside his work. He is now studying to achieve his Level 6 Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing.

Dec Connolly

Acquisition Marketing Manager

Always bringing innovation and new ideas, Dec studied a degree in Journalism but found his passion in digital marketing. Dec has also worked in marketing for one of the countries biggest retailers and within the property sector.

Outside work, Dec Co-founded a news publication where he collaborated with global brands like Uber, Amazon, BooHoo and countless SMEs.
