Moodle LMS

WordPress Integration

“Decades of accumulated experience delivering the most demanding training programs around the world.”

Adapting the financial training model to a post-COVID world.

Financial Edge provides finance training to banks and financial institutions around the globe via their offices in London, New York and Asia-Pacific. In response to the COVID pandemic, they developed a virtual training offer which would allow them to continue to serve existing clients while opening up new regions of operation and increasing the choice of services available.

As their online training provision began to scale, FET realised that their existing UK-hosted Moodle platform was unable to support the availability and performance standards which their global audience required.

Following an in-depth consultation with Titus, they commissioned us to develop and implement a new hosted Moodle LMS solution. This incorporated enterprise-grade hosting to guarantee a high-quality user experience, development of custom content, and built-in ecommerce functionality to allow FET to manage paid enrollment across their range of courses.

At a glance

Moodle—powering global training programmes.

Our work with Financial Edge Training has allowed them to reach beyond the physical classroom to deliver advanced training to a global audience.

High-performance hosting

The new Moodle is hosted in the Titus AWS cloud, delivering enterprise-grade security and disaster recovery along with high availability and reliability 24/7.

The infrastructure is location agnostic, ensuring that FET is able to deliver a consistently high quality of service to learners in the Americas, Europe, or Asia.

WordPress integration

Alongside the core Moodle build we implemented WordPress integration to make it easy for the team at FET to promote courses via their existing website.

This allows FET to use their website as a shop window to market and promote courses while deep linking to the LMS so learners can pay and enrol directly.

Training and support

In the run-up to launching the LMS, we provided comprehensive training for FET staff to ensure all members were confident and proficient in using Moodle.

On top of our remote management and support service, we proactively advise FET on building engagement and maximising usage of the platform.
