Founded in 1889, ABRSM is the UK’s largest music education body and the world’s leading provider of music exams, holding over 650,000 assessments in more than 90 countries every year. They are also a registered charity, and contribute significant funding to a range of music education initiatives around the world.
ABRSM approached Titus to develop and implement a new Moodle platform which would initially host two key courses, with further courses to be added after the initial rollout of the LMS.
We created a custom Moodle platform, including a number of adjustments to the standard theme to bring the visuals in line with ABRSM branding, and the addition of CRM integration and advanced reporting tools.
In addition, we implemented ecommerce functionality—allowing learners to purchase access to ABRSM courses directly through the Moodle LMS.
Our work with ABRSM has provided a user-friendly environment for musical learners at various points in their learning journey to undertake and record their online learning.
We added Intelliboard to the ABRSM Moodle to expand on the analytic and reporting capabilities available, and deliver insights based on user behaviour.
The team at ABRSM now have access to a range of key statistical data harvested from the LMS and presented via a clear and intuitive visual dashboard.
One of the key requirements of the project was to enable ABRSM to easily accept payments for online courses, without having to manage this process manually.
We integrated the Intellicart plugin into the new Moodle — automating course enrollment once users have purchased access via a choice of payment options.
To reduce the administration overheads associated with managing the new Moodle platform, we implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration.
This allows real-time two-way data sharing between ABRSM’s CRM system and the Moodle database, streamlining the management of users and their data.
