Business Development Manager (Full Time) – £25-30k plus commission

The Role

Titus, a Certified Premium Moodle Partner in the UK, UAE, and Hong Kong, is looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to our growing sales team. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running based on their previous experience of B2B and corporate software sales. The successful candidate should excel at selling software and consultancy services to a range of stakeholders. 

This position will be pivotal to the continued fast growth of Titus, by actively developing new business and managing inbound enquiries through the full sales cycle. Titus currently works with clients around the globe and it is expected that the successful candidate will respond and work with potential clients both in the UK and internationally, including travel where required.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability of hitting and exceeding sales targets and be proficient in selling to private and public organisations. Experience of selling within the education market, including HE, FE, and 3-18 would be beneficial.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Closing deals and working towards a sales target
  • Managing inbound enquiries: calls/client meetings, producing proposals/quotes
  • Actively developing new business opportunities through a range of channels
  • Moodle product demonstrations, online and face-to-face
  • Sales pipeline and CRM management
  • Working closely with the marketing team on new campaigns
  • Attending conferences both in the UK and overseas
  • Ongoing customer account management

This list isn’t exhaustive and the scope of the role is varied, we expect the role to evolve as the team grows.

What we expect from you:

Must haves:

  • 3 years sales experience
  • Experience selling software solutions/services to corporate clients
  • Solution selling at all levels, up to C-level / company owners
  • Experience with office suite tools and CRM systems
  • Confident and professional manner, excellent written and communication skills
  • Evidence of hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • A full UK driving licence

 

These would be great:

  • Previous experience with Moodle or other LMS’s
  • Experience selling overseas
  • Experience working with education market (HE, FE, 3-18)
  • Experience with bid and tender writing

Phuong owns a food review Instagram page as travelling and food are her passion. She also has a cute little french bulldog.

Ellie Sharkey

Ellie was the first woman to join Titus and has paved the way for many more since then. After studying for a degree in Fashion and Marketing, Ellie was lucky to find herself at fashion weeks and photoshoots.

Now she’s switched from talk of the front row to front end design and has brought loads of transferable knowledge to Titus. Ellie has also found a real passion for tech, especially in the learning sector, helping clients create positive change for their organisations.

Callum Barrett

Senior Brand Executive

As one of the youngest people at Titus but at the same time one of the oldest serving members of the team, Callum has graced Titus with his broad smile and positive attitude for over 5 years now. As a key member of the marketing team, Callum works across all areas, both on and offline, to ensure that all Titus brands and communication are on point.

After missing out on the opportunity to go to University the first time around, management encouraged him to enrol in our course alongside his work. He is now studying to achieve his Level 6 Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing.

Dec Connolly

Acquisition Marketing Manager

Always bringing innovation and new ideas, Dec studied a degree in Journalism but found his passion in digital marketing. Dec has also worked in marketing for one of the countries biggest retailers and within the property sector.

Outside work, Dec Co-founded a news publication where he collaborated with global brands like Uber, Amazon, BooHoo and countless SMEs.
