Founded by George Taylor in 2016, the company’s mission – short for “Food to Thrive”- is to make nutrient-dense, chef-prepared eating effortless for busy professionals and families. Unlike traditional meal kits that require cooking, Frive provides ready-to-eat, 100% natural meals that are macro-balanced, free from ultra-processed foods (UPFs), and delivered in sustainable packaging.

Having already delivered over 20 million meals, Frive has positioned itself as a market leader in the “convenience meets quality” space, backed by high-authority endorsements from figures like Rita Ora and Simon Pegg.

The challenge: The "Governance Gap"

Frive is currently navigating a period of hyper-growth. For a leader in the healthy food and logistics sector, rapid expansion introduces a critical business risk: The Governance Gap. With a surge in new hires and a high-velocity warehouse environment, the board-level objective was clear: Scale without compromise. Frive needed to maintain strict food hygiene standards and health & safety protocols while simultaneously fostering a unified, positive company culture.

The legacy challenge wasn’t just “training” – it was Risk Mitigation. Frive required a “Single Source of Truth” to ensure that every team member, from the production line to the head office, was compliant, capable, and connected to the company’s mission from day one.

The solution: "My Frive" (A Bespoke Totara TXP)

Titus partnered with Frive to architect “My Frive,” a high-performance learning ecosystem powered by the Totara Talent Experience Platform (TXP). The solution was designed to bridge the gap between “deskless” warehouse operations and corporate growth goals.

  • Automated Compliance Engine: Leveraging Totara’s Dynamic Audiences, the platform automatically triggers mandatory Food Safety and Hygiene pathways based on job roles, ensuring zero “compliance leakage” during rapid hiring phases.
  • Mobile-First “Anywhere” Access: Recognising that the warehouse team is rarely at a desk, the UI/UX was optimised for mobile devices, enabling team members to complete training and access resources on the go.
  • A Culture of “Friving”: To move beyond “tick-box” learning, Titus curated a library of over 600 courses. This balances mandatory governance with aspirational personal development, weaving learning into the “daily fabric” of work.
  • Real-Time Board Oversight: The Totara dashboard provides leadership with instant visibility into completion rates, allowing for proactive management of operational risk.
