The Role

Titus is a leading eLearning tech company working with global enterprise organisations to deliver their digital learning. 

Right now we are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to continue our success in winning enterprise level bids and to drive the growth of the business. You will be responsible for the full bid process, empowering you to set direction and strategy. This includes managing tenders, frameworks, requests for proposals and requests for information. 

This role will be responsible for seeing bid opportunities through the full life cycle from sourcing to submission.

You will have the ability to enthuse and influence internal subject matter experts to create winning bids, which then enable us to meet the growth ambitions of the business. You will be a team player who can communicate and build rapport across all levels of the business so as to support the bid function.

You will have a strong focus on detail and be able to produce insightful client, sector and competitor research, along with in-bid activities such as issuing qualification documents, drafting bid content, and coordinating and facilitating project/bid activities.
You will enjoy and be ready for the freedom to develop and implement new ideas and processes, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the bid function within Titus.

You will be forward-thinking and thrive off the growing client base we have here, building impactful and lasting relationships and streamlining processes.

What you’ll do:

– Manage the bid process from start to finish with the support of other business functions (Tech, DevOps, Customer Operations and Marketing)
– Identify the resourcing needs for each bid, allocate tasks and set deadlines during the submission period.
– Liaise with prospective clients and submit final bids
– Identify opportunities on which to submit bids and feed into the decision over whether to bid for the work via our qualification process
– Devise a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points of Titus and understanding the client’s specific requirements

What do we need from you?

– 3+ years experience in a similar role
– 2+ years of industry experience
– Growth mindset and desire to win
– Ability to deliver feedback concisely and honestly
– Must be driven to succeed in the role
– Able to generate enthusiasm for opportunities across the business through relationship building and influencing
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Creative and innovative thinking
– Problem-solving skills
– An interest in the sector in which Titus operates, coupled with a willingness to keep up to date with industry trends, regulations and legislation
– Commercial thinking
– Ability to work with all levels of the business
– Exceptional attention to detail
– Track record of success in winning enterprise-level deals

Also ideal, but not a deal breaker:

– APMP Foundation Certified
– Experience with Moodle, Moodle Workplace or Totara
– Experience in public sector procurement through GCloud
– Experience in using relevant industry frameworks

Ellie was the first woman to join Titus and has paved the way for many more since then. After studying for a degree in Fashion and Marketing, Ellie was lucky to find herself at fashion weeks and photoshoots.

Now she’s switched from talk of the front row to front end design and has brought loads of transferable knowledge to Titus. Ellie has also found a real passion for tech, especially in the learning sector, helping clients create positive change for their organisations.

Callum Barrett

Marketing Executive

As one of the youngest people at Titus but at the same time one of the oldest serving members of the team, Callum has graced Titus with his broad smile and positive attitude for over 5 years now. As a key member of the marketing team, Callum works across all areas, both on and offline, to ensure that all Titus brands and communication are on point.

After missing out on the opportunity to go to University the first time around, management encouraged him to enrol in our course alongside his work. He is now studying to achieve his Level 6 Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing.

Dec Connolly

Digital Marketing & Web Manager

Always bringing innovation and new ideas, Dec studied a degree in Journalism but found his passion in digital marketing. Dec has also worked in marketing for one of the countries biggest retailers and within the property sector.

Outside work, Dec Co-founded a news publication where he collaborated with global brands like Uber, Amazon, BooHoo and countless SMEs.
